4 | slices | bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled | |

12 | slices | San Francisco sourdough bread, toasted | |

BASIC A.1. Burgers | |||

|||
1 1/2 | lbs. | ground beef | |
|
|||
1 1/2 | teaspoons | salt (optional) | |

1/4 | cup | A.1. Steak Sauce | |
|
Prepare Basic A.1. Hamburgers: In medium bowl, lightly combine all ingredients. Form 6 patties to fit bread shape of your choice. Broil, barbecue or pan fry until cooked as desired. Combine avocado, A.1. , salt, onion, and bacon. Serve hamburgers, topped with sauce and tomato, on toast.
