Yield: Makes 4 servings.
2 | tablespoons | butter or margarine | |

1/2 | cup | thinly sliced onion | |

1/2 | cup | thinly sliced green pepper | |
|
|||
1 | clove | garlic, mashed | |
|
|||
1 | can | (1 pound ) tomatoes | |
|
|||
2 | teaspoons | salt | |
|
|||
1/8 | teaspoon | pepper | |
|
|||
Dash cayenne pepper | |||
|
|||
2 | bay leaves | ||
|
|||
8 | ounces | cooked shrimp | |
|
|||
6 | ounces | (3 cups) Mueller's Dumpling Macaroni | |
|
Melt butter in skillet; add onion, green pepper and garlic; cook until crisp-tender but not brown. Stir in tomatoes and seasonings; cover and simmer about 10 minutes. Add shrimp; heat a few minutes; remove bay leaves. Meanwhile, cook macaroni as directed on package; drain. Serve shrimp mixture over macaroni.
