Prepare medium-hot coals in covered grill, banking coals on sides of grill. Grill roast over indirect heat for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, stir together remaining ingredients for basting glaze. Continue to grill roast, brushing with glaze frequently, for 20-30 minutes more, or until meat thermometer registers 155-160 degrees F.
Remove roast from grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
